The Argonauts

Dany Denis Calzadilla is a Cuban mixed-media artist currently based in Baix d'Empordà, Spain. His artistic journey spans over two decades, during which he has developed a distinctive style that blends fantasy, abstraction, and elements of nature. Dany's work often transports viewers into imaginative worlds imbued with vibrant energy and meaning.

Dany's experimentation lies in acrylic painting, collage, photography, and drone footage. His work has been showcased in cities such as Barcelona, Miami, Indianapolis, and San Francisco. He recently ventured into filmmaking with the release of his short film El Cable. Dany's latest exhibition, Sincronització, took place in Bellcaire d'Empordà, showcasing his continued exploration of innovative artistic expressions.

Now based in Costa Brava after years of exploration in California and beyond, Dany's art reflects a blend of his Cuban heritage and the cultural influences he absorbed during his time in the United States.
 

Gratianne Rabiller is a French neuroscientist with a passion for sustainability and low-tech solutions. Her innovative mindset complements her partner Dany's artistic vision, creating a dynamic synergy between science and art. While living in San Francisco and now Costa Brava, Gratianne has played a pivotal role in making their collaborative projects both creative and feasible.

Her curiosity-driven approach aligns with Dany’s artistic style, enabling them to explore new frontiers in art and sustainability together.
